Rubinste in. This volume\, which is on sale for $7\, is an invaluable source for st udying the life and work of seven-term (1934-36\; 1938-50)\, American Labo r Party (ALP) Congressman Vito Marcantonio\, who courageously and brillian tly represented East Harlem and the entire American Left. In addition to h is Congressional work\, Marc served as Chairperson of the ALP\, and ran fo r Mayor in 1949\, under its banner. As defense attorney on behalf of W. E. B.
